TRAITS
+ her empathetic nature makes her someone personable and reliable. emotionally intelligent and attuned to other people's feelings and thoughts. assertive and principled, standing firm in her beliefs. her openness and ability to see things from multiple perspective help her keep her growth mindset. introspective and analytical.± has tendencies to overwork and help others to the point of self-neglect, but driven by her altruism and purpose. can and will love you until she's all run out of love to give, then completely detach. knows when to avoid facing unnecessarily unpleasant situations. her individualism and idealism are double-edged swords: a source of strength and authenticity but also a challenge that isolates her and heightens her internal struggles, balancing her independence with her profound yearning for connection. complex, layered and multifaceted, a paradox of emotions and thoughts— everything and nothing all at once.- her learned coping mechanism of suppressing her (usually intense) emotions often leads her to operate on autopilot. despite her warm aura, she struggles with truly and fully lowering her guards. her pursuit for self-growth and identity causes her to stay in her head and spiral into self-doubt. tends to feel that her achievements are inadequate because they are expected of her anyway. struggles with small talks, so she usually seems awkward without her professional mask on. will seem apathetic when burnt out. uses isolation as a defense mechanism, convinced that her vulnerability is not something everyone can handle.
| Uh Huh!!: | analyzing films and characters, music: indie, folk, rnb, pop, alt, etc., abstract, philosophical & societal topics, genuine connections, artistic pursuits, connecting with nature: hiking & free-diving, warm cup of tea after a long day's work, long and slow morning walks, coffee crumble ice cream, drinking with peers, making food for loved ones, small & subtle acts of intimacy, poetic expressions |
| Nuh Uh!!: | things not going according to plan, being told to do something she was already planning on doing in the first place, being yelled at, not feeling heard or seen by people she cares about, rude approach, utter disregard for someone's feelings |

BACKGROUND
Born and raised in a lower-class family in a provincial town, Chanmi learned the value of hard work and self-sacrifice from a young age. As the only daughter, her parents depended on her for everything—managing the household, assisting with finances, and offering emotional support. Her upbringing molded her into a mature, responsible individual but left little room for personal growth or self-indulgence.Through sheer hard work and unrelenting conviction, she earned a scholarship to one of Seoul's prestigious universities at 20. The new environment and a fresh set of challenges opened up her eyes to the real world. Being a working student in a place she barely knew toughened her up and gave her a different perspective to life as she knew it. At 23, she graduated with a degree in Sociology. With burning passion for human life experiences—as individuals and as communities—she pursued a master's degree right after. Her dedication spilled through to the first four years of her career as a social researcher for a nonprofit organization. The experience has honed her interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, but it also showed her injustices even in places promoted to be a safe haven. This allowed her to see that in her drive to help people, she had neglected herself, leading her to the current crossroads in her life. Now living on her own and having cut ties with her parents, Chanmi is striving to unlearn the limiting beliefs she grew up with: that her worth is tied solely to how much she can give to others. Balancing a demanding office job at Skyline and the emotional labor of rediscovering herself, she often feels stuck in survival mode. Eager to find something—or someone—to make her feel alive again, Chanmi often toes the line between a cautious yearning for change and the safety of routine.Despite the security Skyline has offered Chanmi, she still dreams of pursuing a doctorate and cementing her place in the academia. But for now, she wants to focus on herself and she is deeply grateful for Skyline for that chance while still progressing her career..
CONNECTIONS
almost married GUNWOO... too young, too in love, and still naive, Chanmi and Gunwoo thought they could make it last until the end. with a ring on her finger at 20 that Gunwoo put right after her senior year graduation, they promised a future with a house and a family of their own. but life had other plans for them. Gunwoo couldn't leave town, and Chanmi had another path to take. At 21, as she entered sophomore year, she placed the ring back into the palm of her lover's hand. but fate knew how to play tricks on them because now they work at the same company. so, what now?

PROMPTS
• just my luck: [ open, m / f ]
— it started with spilling coffee on herself first thing in the morning, then that same coffee causing her stomach to hurt, now after relieving herself, she couldn't get the cubicle door to open and her only chance at saving is to blast the teams chat about her current whereabouts. who's willing to rescue her?• hey... so, what now?: [ closed, m ]
— the love they had for each other then was one for the books. they talked about wedding plans and starting a family, convinced that they would actually achieve their shared dreams together, but life happened. one couldn't leave town, while the other had to move onto bigger things... the distance drew them apart, but now they're both in the city and have just finished catching up. what's next?• you're not just some baggage...: [ open, m / f ]
— they've been friends since middle school, have defended each other against bullies, have gotten into troubles together, have become a part of each other's chaotic households, and have become each other's real family, but how can such a connection fall out? they both wonder as they sit across from each other in a cafe, the warmth of their coffee cups unable to combat the chill between them."I'm sorry I had to leave town.""It's not that you left... it's that when you did, you just left me behind, along with the rest of your baggage."• MORE TO BE ADDED!!!DM FOR SOME BRAINSTORMING. MUN IS OPEN TO ALMOST ANY THEMES/GENRES— angst, comedic, heavy, etc etc (smut, too, but with heavy chemistry).
